ADM Aluminum AR-15 Castle Nut. The castle nuts do not require staking. We recommend the use of vibratite vc3 thread locker during installation.

This AR-15 Castle Nut does not have notches to stake the endplate. We recomend VC3 Vibratite on the castle nut threads to secure it to the receiver extension.

Machined from aircraft grade aluminum, with a fluted design to provide weight savings. Hard coat anodized for a lifetime of performance.

Installation Note:

We recommend wrapping the Castle Nut with Blue Painter's Tape to maintain the finish and reduce marring during installation. Due to the design, the Castle Nut cannot be staked, however we recommend applying VC-3 Vibratite to the threads and tightening it down snug. No torque wrench required, just tighten about 1/4 turn from hand tight. This is much less than your typical Castle Nut. The Castle Nut can be damaged if over tightened. The use of VC-3 Vibritite will result in a solid lockup, and prevent the Castle Nut from loosening.
